The massacre in 'Sandy Hook' school

Hello to all of my readers,

Today I would like to write about the massacre at 'Sandy Hook' school in Newtown, Connecticut.

At 9:30 in the morning Adam Lanza came into 'Sanby Hook' school and started shooting people around.

 He killed 20 children and 6 adults and then himself.

All of America was shocked by the fact that someone could kill 26 people without any reason.

When I read the articles and saw it on the television I was shocked as well. I couldn't believe that someone was able to do such a cruel thing. Killing 26 innocent people over nothing is unforgiveable.

When the president of the United States, Barak Obama, spoke about the incident he cried.

I think about those miserable families whose lives are ruined because of this man who killed their children over nothing.

This is a heartbreaking story and I hope we won't have to hear about things like that any more.

Masterchef

Hello to all of my readers, today I would like to write about the reality show 'Masterchef'.

 

Masterchef is a television show  that takes amateur cooks with love to food and turns them into professional cooks.

In this season there is a variety of people and cultures. This season combines people who came from many places around the world, not like in the sesons before.

I think this is very nice to see how each person cooks and how he brings his own world into the dish.

There is an Arabic woman, a French woman, a christian German man who converted to Judaism, a religious woman, a vegan and so many more.

Every tome I watch the program I become hungry because the dishes look very special and tasty.

I wish I could cook like those people.

My favorite candidate is Salma, the Arabic woman. I think she is very brave for going to the show, and she reprasents her sector and her kitchen very proudly. I admire her for her break through into the television.

 

 

  

   

Europa Park

Europa Park

Hello to all of my readers, today I would like to write about  my visit in the 'Europa Park' in the black fprest 

in Germany.    

On July 30th I flew to Germany with my family and with our friends. 

The black forest is n amazing place, everything is green and so pastoral. Our hotel was watching over a beautiful lake next to a pictureque town. 

On our first day we went to 'Eoropa Park', the most huge park in all over Europ. The park is devited to areas and wich area is a country wich is decorated like the country itself. 

The rollercoasters are the biggest and the most scary I have ever seen. 

All over the park there are mini pardes with all of the Disney charactors and they are walking aroud all of the time. Bsides, all of the workers, like the poeple in the fast food area are dressed up as well. 

All of these things make you fell like you are in a fairytale. 

The greatest most exciting rollercoaster I have done there was the 'STARLINE'. This rollercoaster is reaching 73 meters of hight and 150 kilometers per hour. I had a great time doing it!!!

  

AMUD ANAN OPERATION

'Amud Anan' Military Operation

For 13 years we have been having a complicated situation with Gaza strip. A lot of bombs have been shot  from both sides and hurt a lot of innocent people.

About a week ago the Hamas people from Gaza strip started shooting missles towords Israel. In response, the country of Israel shot missles towards them. This is how Amud Anan operation started. 

All around the world people are having a hard time choosing sides and a big part of them sees us as the killers of the innocent people who can not protect themselves. This situation is causing a lot of damage To the image of Israel. However, this time there is more tolerance of the other countries towards the operation because they understand that Israel has the right to defand itself. 

The citizens of the southern side of Israel sufferd a lot throw the past 13 years. Whenever there is a shooting they cant have a normal life style and spend most or their time in shelters. This situation is impossible to live in. I hope that sometime Israel and the Hamas people can understand each other and stop fighting.

About Me

 

My name is Amit Zilberstein, I live in a small communal settlement called Nirit. I'm 13.5 years old. I have two sisters, one named Coral, she is 19 years old and she is now serving in the army as a combat sports guide. My other sister,Or, is 9 years old and she is in the 4th grade. 

I like living in a settlement because I know every inch in here and every person. When I want to meet my friends I just cross the street and get there. This physical proximity affects the relationships between the people and brings them together. 

 

The 'Bne HaMoshavin' is a program that exsists in many settlements, all over Israel and in Nirit as well. It takes a big part of the kids' lives. The trips and the camps unit youth from all over the country. Every Tuesday kids from 4th grade to 9th grade meet, each in his own age group. The guids spend a lot or their time there and plan what they sould do next week.
I like the Bne HaMoshavim very much and i love going there and meet my friends, have fun and get to know my classmates better. This is one of the many things about living in a small settlement.
